09/10/2004 - Saab Sales Soar In September

Saab’s UK sales continued at to grow at a turbocharged pace in September, with a 36 per cent increase (3,643 units) over the same month last year, making the Swedish brand the fastest-growing manufacturer in the premium new car sector for the fourth consecutive month.

To date, Saab’s UK sales are up 34 per cent, at 15,508 units, with every model in the Saab range enjoying significant sales growth. Demand for the 9-3 Convertible remains especially strong, and orders for the new Euro4 9-3 1.9TiD models exceed supply.

Saab GB’s Managing Director Jonathan Nash says: “British consumer demand for Saabs, new or used, has never been so strong. Our Approved Used Saab sales are running comfortably ahead of previous years, and I remain extremely confident that our final new car sales result for 2004 will be Saab’s highest ever in the UK.”
